Lee and London is very excited to announce that The People Concern hosted the Inaugural “Celebrating Change” gala! The People Concern is a nonprofit organization striving to end homelessness in Los Angeles. All money raised at the gala will go directly toward helping the homeless in Los Angeles by providing services like mental health care, housing services, domestic violence services, life skills, income assistance, medical care and outreach.
The “Celebrating Change” gala took place on April 29 at Casa Vertigo in downtown Los Angeles. The gala celebrated more than 55 years of life-saving work and had the attendance and support of several celebrities including David Arquette, Greg Germann, Marcia Cross, Seth Green, Kymberly Marciano-Strauss and Annabeth Gish. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a sit down three-course dinner were provided and KTLA’s Sam Rubin even made an appearance with live entertainment.
The People Concern Executive Director John Maceri honored Steven K. Jones and made a special presentation in memory of William Keck, Jr. and the impact he made on not only The People Concern but also on the Los Angeles community.
