Welk Resorts ShamROCKS Local TV Segments to Promote Spring Fling-St. Patrick’s Family Festival

Welk Resorts hosted its 4th Annual Spring Fling St. Patrick’s Family Festival in Escondido” March 16-17, giving families across San Diego County a chance to experience fun games, carnival rides, delectable Irish-themed cuisine, live music performances and more!

Needless to say, our team had a blast pitching this event! L&L PR secured great media coverage, including in-studio segments on News 8 and Fox 5 San Diego, where viewers saw a little taste of all the fun they could expect at the Spring Fling. The segments featured the event chef and mixologist who showcased enticing Irish-themed dishes like Shepard’s pie and cocktails, like an Irish Mule and Grasshopper, in front of a unicyclist and swinging trapeze artist!

This was Welk Resorts San Diego’s fourth consecutive year hosting the St. Patrick’s Family Festival and they were thrilled to offer the community a unique, festive and family-friendly experience. “It is always a joy to see families enjoying all of the awesome activities we offer at the Spring Fling event,” said Welk Resorts representative, John Pham. “From soaring above a sea of green on the circus trapeze to eating tasty Irish-themed food, there are so many fantastic ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we are proud to provide.”

In addition to live news segments, the festival garnered local media coverage publications like the SoCal Pulse, San Diego Family Magazine, ABC 10 News Online, Escondido Times-Advocate, Patch and Red Tricycle which highlighted the event as one of the best places to celebrate St. Patty’s Day with the family.
